National Honor Society:
If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or above and have not received an invitation to apply to NHS, please go to room 2206 and speak with Ms. Young. Applications are due by Monday, Oct. 1st in room 2206.
Seniors: College Day is Wednesday September 26th @ 8:00 a.m.
All colleges/universities and trade schools throughout the state will be here to discuss important information. This is a great opportunity to get questions answered and make an informed decision about furthering your education. Please wear your best dress and come ready with questions.
There will be a Scholarship and Financial Aid Evening on Wednesday, September 26th @ 6:00 p.m. here in the auditorium. A state representative will present on how to pay for college. College/university representatives will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions please see the counseling office.
This will be tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 19th from 2:45 – 7:25 p.m.
Students : If you haven't picked up your ID card please do so immediately in the Student Finance Office. All students who had their picture taken will have an ID card.
For those who were missing your card – those are ready to be picked up as well.
FCCLA's OPENING SOCIAL:

Yearbook: The yearbook staff needs your help! We need pictures of what you did this summer and pictures of you hanging out with your friends. We want to include you in the yearbook. Please give us pictures! You can e-mail them to Miss Tuttle through the school website or bring them to Miss Tuttle in room 1003. We need all pictures by Sept 21st.

Sophomores and Juniors:
Orem High will be offering the PSAT on Wednesday, October 17th at 8:00 am. Not only is the PSAT a great way to practice for the SAT or even the ACT, there are many scholarships that require the PSAT. If you would like to sign up to take the PSAT, please register at the Finance Office. The cost for the test is $15. Once you have signed up, you may see Mr. Kenley in the Counseling Office to receive the Official Student Guide to the PSAT. There are a limited number of tests available and they will go to the first students to sign up, so don't delay."
ACT: If you want to take the Oct. 27th ACT test you need to register by Sept. 21st to avoid a late fee. Come to the counseling office for information on signing up.
We will be offering an ACT Prep Class that will meet each Tuesday for 4 weeks starting Oct. 2nd at 2:30. The cost is $30.00 which includes an ACT prep book. To sign up for this class pay your $30.00 at the financial office.
Seniors: You have one final opportunity to get your picture taken by Christensen Photography for the yearbook. They will be here today, Sept 18th during lunch and after school until 3:15. You do not need an appointment. The pictures will be taken on the stage in the auditorium. If you do not get your picture taken by Christensen Photography, you will not be included in the book. The pictures taken by Bell Photographers are for your student ID but will not be included in the yearbook. Talk to Miss Tuttle if you have questions, rm. 1003.
