Student of the Day:
        Tiffany Tuminez chosen by Ms. Lorraine Peterson.

Yearbook:    If you have not bought a yearbook listen up!  The price of yearbooks is going up!  The last day to buy a yearbook for $45.00 will Dec. 19th.  After Christmas break the price of a yearbook will be $60.00.  If you put a $10.00 deposit on a yearbook before Dec. 19th then your price will still only be $45.00.  Buy or put a deposit on a yearbook today and save money!

Math Girls Rock Program:       
        For all those students who are involved in the Math Girls Rock program, the next meeting will be held this Thursday, December 6th, right after school in Mrs. Burr's room #3104.  There will be food, gifts, games, and prizes.  Come and learn how you can use simple mathematical equations to score big and win millions on Deal or No Deal.  If you were not involved in the first Math Girls Rock meeting, you may still come and enjoy it this time.  If you have not turned in your permission slips, please bring them on Thursday.  If you do not have a permission slip, please see Mrs. Burr or Mr. Kenley to get one.

Orem High Blood Drive:
        Our blood drive will be next Wednesday, December 12th from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Bring photo I.D. and your signed parental permission slip.
       
October ACT Test scores are in and can be picked up in the Counseling Office.

Ballroom & Dance Company present their combined Holiday Dance Concert:
        It will be on Friday, December 7th in our auditorium at 7:00 p.m..
        Tickets: $4.00 Pre-sale & $5.00 at the Door.
       
ACT TEST:    All students that are signed up to take the December ACT to listen closely to the following announcement.
       
        In order to take the test you need to have uploaded a picture of yourself on your ACT account.  If you have not done this yet you only have until Tuesday morning, Dec. 4th.

        There are 28 OHS students out there that have not completed the Photo Upload and if it is not done you will not be able to take the ACT test next week.

        If you need help on doing this see Mrs. Wimmer in the counseling office.

Scholarship:   
        IM Flash is offering eight $1000 scholarships to students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math. Applications are available from any CTE teacher, Mrs. Hall, or the Career Center. Deadline is December 17, 2012.
