Attention all NHS members!
Our next mandatory service project is this Wednesday, January 30th from 4-6:45pm. We will be helping families make child identification kits. Remember, you have to attend 3 of the 5 mandatory projects and this is our third one.
Girls, if you are a junior and are interested in government, politics, and general good citizenship, you may be interested in signing up for this year's Girl's State program!
Participants learn how to participate in the functioning of their state's government in preparation for their future roles as responsible adult citizens. If you are a junior, good student, and have an interest in participating in Girl's State, please see Mr. Kenley in the Counseling Office to get an application.
Attention Sophomores:
The ACT Plan test scores are in, you may pick them up in the counseling office.
Also, there are still Plan test scores from last year in the counseling office waiting to be picked up.
Students, do you still need help with college or scholarship applications?
The Orem High Counselors will be available in the writing lab for an Open Lab night on Tuesday, January 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Final application deadlines are fast approaching. Come get help with your application and make sure you meet the deadlines.
Attention!
All students who have not bought a yearbook! Please don't forget that the last day to either purchase or put a deposit on a yearbook will be Jan. 30. We must have a final count of who wants a yearbook on that day. If you do not purchase or put a deposit on a yearbook by Jan. 30, you are not guaranteed a yearbook at the end of the year. Please check with the accounting office if you have questions and please check to make sure you have bought a yearbook.
Get involved! Join next year's yearbook staff!
See Miss Tuttle in room 1003 for an application.
