Orem FFA members please meet in Mr. Lawson's room, 3119, after school today for a short meeting.

Students you will be receiving a yellow Emergency form sometime this week. Please take it home and have your parents fill it out then return it to the main office. These forms are very important, so please return them to the office ASAP. 

We will be offering an ACT Prep Class that will meet each Tuesday for 4 weeks starting Nov. 12th at 2:20. The cost is $30.00 which includes an ACT prep book.  To sign up for this class pay your $30.00 at the financial office.  Taking this prep class DOES NOT register you for the ACT test.   

If you want to take the December 14th ACT test you need to register on line by November 8th to avoid a late fee.  Come to the counseling office for information regarding the ACT

Tigers: The Fantasticks will be in the Little theatre.  Fantasticks is the longest running off-Broadway musical in history and there's a reason!  Come enjoy!!!
We start up again tomorrow Friday night and end Tuesday.

Bargain Ball is coming up fast, so boys–get your dates! It's on Saturday, November 16th and tickets are ONLY $5.00!! It's going to be the best and least expensive dance of the year, so start planning and get your dates!

Seniors!
    Are you interested in Utah State University?  Don’t forget about the USU Open House on Tuesday, October 22nd at the Provo Marriott and Conference Center from 6-8 PM.  This is a great opportunity to visit with the admissions and scholarship office, learn more about the majors offered, financial aid and scholarship possibilities and on-campus housing.  Don’t forget your transcripts and ACT scores because USU will be awarding academic scholarships on the spot to those that qualify!  See you Tuesday!

Orem Girls get your dates! It's Sadie's Time!
    Tomorrow, Saturday, October 19th from 8-11pm. The theme is Sadie's Goes O Town. Dress up in your Orem High Favorites, spirit & colors and bring O Town City to life. Tickets are $15 pre sale and $20 at the door. Remember that school dress code will be enforced.

Red Ribbon Week:
         Friday – "This week has been amazing and we've seen some crazy hair-dos today, but just because Red Ribbon Week is only one week out of the year, doesn't mean we have to stop bringing awareness to the misuse of drugs. Let's remember to say No to drugs and stay away from other crazy habits. See you all next year!"

Everyone who is a member of National Honor Society, we will be having a service project to benefit the school today, Friday! We will be meeting in the library at 3:00. Make sure to bring your yellow service log. See you there!

Are you looking to improve your college resume? Are you proud to be an American? The Excel Club may be right for you! The Excel Club is a new club at Orem High starting this month! The Excel Club is a national organization that focuses on Americanism and service in the community.  By being part of the Excel Club, you will participate in two service activities during the school year.  Excel Club members will also teach elementary students to be proud to be an American!  This is a great and fun opportunity to build your college resume! If you are interested, please see Mrs. Gilbert in room 1112 by Friday, October 18th!
