Student of the Day:
Alisa Latimer chosen by Mrs. Ashley Ramsten.

Are you looking to improve your college resume? Are you proud to be an American? The Excel Club may be right for you! The Excel Club is a new club at Orem High starting this month! The Excel Club is a national organization that focuses on Americanism and service in the community.  By being part of the Excel Club, you will participate in two service activities during the school year.  Excel Club members will also teach elementary students to be proud to be an American!  This is a great and fun opportunity to build your college resume! If you are interested, please see Mrs. Gilbert in room 1112 by Friday, October 18th!

Seniors–Jostens will be here today, Tuesday during lunch to take cap and gown orders. Get this taken care of now! If you wait until the end of the year, the price will go up!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors.  Orem High School will be offering the PSAT test on Wednesday, October 16th.  If you would like to take the PSAT, please sign up at the Finance Office.  The test costs $15.  There are only 100 tests available, so it is on a first come first serve basis.  The PSAT test is required for the National Merit Scholarship.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kenley in the Counseling Office.

Orem High's HOSA club would like to let everybody know that we are going to have our first blood drive Oct 16.  Everybody needs to have a parent permission slip signed and a donation time scheduled.  You can do both in Coach Steele's room 1209.  We have 70 slots open for us after that you will not be allowed to donate here at the school.  You have to be 16 years old to donate.  Thanks for saving lives with your gift.
