FBLA will be meeting at 12:25 in Room 2105 TODAY, Tuesday, October 15.

Orem Girls get your dates! It's Sadie's Time!
This Saturday, October 19th from 8-11pm. The theme is Sadie's Goes O Town. Dress up in your Orem High Favorites, spirit & colors and bring O Town City to life. Tickets are $15 pre sale and $20 at the door. Remember that school dress code will be enforced.

All those who want to apply for Sterling Scholar, have your application in by this afternoon before the Media Center closes. If you thought you missed the deadline, there is still time to fill out the application short essays during lunch and after school so GO FOR IT!!

Those students who have registered to take the PSAT, please remember that the test will be tomorrow, October 16th.  The test will begin at 8:00 in the morning and will be held in room 2202.  Please go directly to room 2202 in the morning. If you would like to still register for the test, you may do so up until 7:45 a.m. tomorrow morning. If you have any questions, see Mr. Kenley in the Counseling Office.

Red Ribbon Week:
        Tuesday – "Its that week again, Red Ribbon Week is here and we want to stop the misuse of drugs and alcohol. Today during pride and lunch, there will be a banner for everyone to sign and pledge not not do drugs. This banner will be hung up for all to see and show our school's commitment. Also, everyone needs to wear red in support of Red Ribbon Week tomorrow and lets see who can wear the most!"

Everyone who is a member of National Honor Society, we will be having a service project to benefit the school this Friday! We will be meeting in the library at 3:00. Make sure to bring your yellow service log. See you there!

Are you looking to improve your college resume? Are you proud to be an American? The Excel Club may be right for you! The Excel Club is a new club at Orem High starting this month! The Excel Club is a national organization that focuses on Americanism and service in the community.  By being part of the Excel Club, you will participate in two service activities during the school year.  Excel Club members will also teach elementary students to be proud to be an American!  This is a great and fun opportunity to build your college resume! If you are interested, please see Mrs. Gilbert in room 1112 by Friday, October 18th!

Orem High's HOSA club would like to let everybody know that we are going to have our first blood drive Oct 16.  Everybody needs to have a parent permission slip signed and a donation time scheduled.  You can do both in Coach Steele's room 1209.  We have 70 slots open for us after that you will not be allowed to donate here at the school.  You have to be 16 years old to donate.  Thanks for saving lives with your gift.
