Student of the Day:
    Cal Joyner chosen by Mrs. Cherie Almond & Mrs. Carlene Cosgrove.

ARC Night is an opportunity for students to make up ARC credit if they come for one hour to a presentation sponsored by "Zero Fatalities" Friday from 5-6 o'clock in the OHS auditorium.  They can receive 2 hour credit if they bring their parents.  Also, EVERYONE is invited to get recommitted to "NO Texting while driving"..

There is an FFA planning meeting after school on Friday. All FFA members should be in attendance. Please come and participate.

If you are interested in taking Drivers Ed please see the accounting office. Classes start next Tuesday October 22. Classes are offered before school (Mr. Steele) and after school (Mr. Rhees). Sign up now!

We would like to encourage everyone to enter this year's Utah PTA Reflections contest! The 2013 Reflections Theme is: "Believe, Dream, Inspire"

Orem Girls get your dates! It's Sadie's Time!
    This Saturday, October 19th from 8-11pm. The theme is Sadie's Goes O Town. Dress up in your Orem High Favorites, spirit & colors and bring O Town City to life. Tickets are $15 pre sale and $20 at the door. Remember that school dress code will be enforced.

Red Ribbon Week:
        Thursday – "Today's outfits have been insane and we can't wait to see the winner of the fashion show, but here's an announcement about tomorrow's theme. 'We might have CRAZY HAIR, but we aren't crazy enough to do drugs.' That's right everyone, tomorrow is our Crazy Hair day. Come with the craziest hair and lets see who wins during our competition at lunch. Be there or be…well, crazy!"

Everyone who is a member of National Honor Society, we will be having a service project to benefit the school this Friday! We will be meeting in the library at 3:00. Make sure to bring your yellow service log. See you there!

Are you looking to improve your college resume? Are you proud to be an American? The Excel Club may be right for you! The Excel Club is a new club at Orem High starting this month! The Excel Club is a national organization that focuses on Americanism and service in the community.  By being part of the Excel Club, you will participate in two service activities during the school year.  Excel Club members will also teach elementary students to be proud to be an American!  This is a great and fun opportunity to build your college resume! If you are interested, please see Mrs. Gilbert in room 1112 by Friday, October 18th!
