Prom Tickets are now available in the financial office, so get your tickets right away. They are $30 pre-sale and $35 at the door. Don’t forget Prom is THIS SATURDAY.

All Juniors will take the ACT test TOMORROW Tuesday March 3rd.

You must bring:

  • Two #2 Pencils
  • A Photo ID (School ID, Drivers License or Passport)
  • A Calculator if you want one

Your room assignments for taking the test will be posted around the school on goldenrod papers. Be in your testing room at 7:45! You cannot start the test late, no exceptions. If you have not filled out your ACT answer form in your English class see your English teacher asap.

 TOMORROW Sophomores and Seniors don’t have to come to school until 12:40. Here is the schedule for that day.

B5       12:40 – 1:00

B6       1:05 – 1:25

B7       1:30 – 1:50

B8       1:55 – 2:15

Congratulations to our Sterling Scholar Finalists: Ashton Kellems, Amaya Bickmore, Jehicob Torres, and Jonathan Meyers. Tune in to the Awards Ceremony streamed live on on March 10th at 7 p.m. to cheer them on.

Paul Mitchell Schools   $1000 (Everyone who applies gets this one)

These Scholarships are available to Seniors who have earned a Key Card. You can pick applications in the career center. Then bring the applications to Mrs. Cragun in the Copy Center.  All applications are due by March 24th.

Utah Valley Job Fair Wednesday March 4th 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Utah Valley Convention Center 220 W. Center Street Provo

Bring copies of your resume, dress professionally and be prepared to talk to hiring representatives.

The Pediatric Health Behavior Research Group at BYU is conducting a research study evaluating adolescents’ sleep behavior and brain response to food using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Participants may be compensated up to $100. See Mrs. Jacobs in the Career Center for contact information.

All students taking the Government and Citizen Classes are invited to a presentation called Milestones of Freedom sponsored and conducted by the Excel Club of Orem High today at 1:30 to 3:00 pm in the Little Theater.  Extra Credit will be given for those in the Government Classes and there will be treats.  Come and learn what it is like to become a Citizen of the United States
