East Shore Online will be closed Friday, December 18, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Students with packets that expire 12/1/2015 – 1/3/2016 will be able to test on their course from  1/4/16 through 1/8/16 and have the opportunity to receive a free packet if they are within the 30 days.

Snow College is hosting a Skate Night at Classic Skating this Friday December 18th for all Juniors and Seniors, free admission with your student ID. Seniors, if you bring a copy of your High School Transcript you can apply to Snow for free – and get accepted, and awarded scholarships on the spot!

Attention any student interesting in the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineer, Math). The Counseling Office is sponsoring a field trip to IM Flash on January 15th. Sophomore Students taking Concurrent Enrollment classes are required to complete a Sophomore by Exception Form and take the Explore, Plan or Accuplacer Test.

If a student hasn’t taken the Explore or Plan test OHS will offer the Accuplacer Test on the following dates:  Jan. 5, 13, and 19th immediately after school in room 2117.  The Accuplacer Test is free of charge at Orem High.  The test takes approximately 1 ½ – 2 hours to complete and will test English and Math skills.  If these dates won’t work for you The Accuplacer Test is also offered at the UVU Testing Center for $10.00 with a UV ID.

Everett Bergeson, Matthias Hulme, Sydney Baker, Gavin Gray and Carsen Lindorff made up the team that won the Five-By-Four District Math Competition, made possible by IMFlash Technologies and DoTerra. The competition pitted the best mathematicians, in the district, against each other on December 3rd at Lone Peak High School. Congrats Guys!

Also keep working on your personal hours, they will be due on January 12^th. If you haven’t paid your dues you can pay at the financial office.
