NHS – If you want to be part of the NHS Leadership Council for next year, and help decide what service projects we will do among other things, please pick up an application in the office and return to Mrs. Cragun by April 29th.

Photo Show: Photos will be on display until Thursday. Come and see the work of our amazing students.

Also,  this is the first there will be a District Photo Show.  It goes up this Thursday and will be up through Monday afternoon. There is a reception Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:00.  It is at the Traverse Mountain shopping outlets in their main office building.  I encourage you this weekend to do a little shopping and then stop in and see some amazing photos.

Are you interested in being a football team manager? Duties of a football manager may include: water at practices and games (filling up and passing out), maintaining rosters, inventory and passing out uniforms, being at all home games for your assigned team, traveling to all away games for your assigned team, keeping up with the med bag and equipment bag for away games, cleaning/organizing football storage closets, checking in/out football equipment, office/paperwork as assigned by head Coach Hill and/or athletic staff.

**Priority will go to people that are available summer through the end of the season. Hard work, commitment, and dedication will be recognized at the end of year football banquet.

Applications are available in Melissa MacArthur’s office or the Main Office.

They are due April 29th at 2:15

Anyone interesting in applying to be an officer for FCCLA in the 2016-17 school year please see Mrs. Kezerian in Rm 1105 for an application. Learn how you can travel to Nashville, Tennessee with FCCLA next year!!  Applications due April 22nd.

Join FCCLA NOW for $20 and you will get a $10. Jamba card BOGO

This is an national club so it looks great on your application for college.  Sophmores and juniors get involved.  See Mrs. Kezarian, or Mrs. Cox

Dr. Brock Kirwan is a neuroscientist and professor in the Psychology department at BYU. Come find out more about being a professor, the study of pyschology and learn more about the research he does using an MRI machine to study the human brain!

This is being held in room 1209 Coach Steele’s room.

 

Last day to submit assignments for East Shore packet is Monday, 5/23 at 6 pm. Anything submitted after that will not qualify to test on Tuesday, 5/24.

Last day to test for East Shore packets is Tuesday, 5/24 until 4pm.

All East Shore packet testing is done in the Red Room, 2117.

If you are interested in speaking at graduation, please submit a typed copy of your speech (double spaced) to Mrs. Fa’alafua in the counseling office by Monday, April 18th by 8am.  Your speech should be three to four minutes in length and should reflect the theme–“Some legacies known, some go untold, let’s leave our legacy sealed in GOLD.”  Additionally, you may apply to give a three to five minute “tribute to parents.”

When you submit your speech to the counseling office, you will sign up for a time to audition on Monday, April 25, from 1:30‑3:00 p.m.in the Counseling Center Conference Room.  At your audition, you will present your speech to a committee of judges (administrators, teachers, etc.) and the judges will pick the speeches that will be presented as part of the graduation exercises. The committee will judge your speech on content, organization, style, correlation with the graduation theme and presentation.  Reading the speech to the judges is not the same as “presenting” your speech.

All speech applicants MUST be cleared to graduate at the time of their audition.”

If you are interested in speaking at graduation, please submit a typed copy of your speech (double spaced) to Mrs. Fa’alafua in the counseling office by MondayApril 18th by 8am Your speech should be three to four minutes in length and should reflect the theme–“Some legacies known, some go untold, let’s leave our legacy sealed in GOLD.”  Additionally, you may apply to give a three to five minute “tribute to parents.”
