Seniors: Looking for scholarship opportunities? Sterling Scholar is a great program to help you earn scholarship money. It will boost your resumes and teach you valuable interview skills. “OREM FFA is selling boutonnieres and corsages for homecoming.  You choose between red and white roses, and one of eight accent ribbon colors.  Price is $20 for the set ( 1 corsage 1 boutonniere) when you buy together you get a matched pair.  See Mr. Wardell or the finance office for an order form.  You must pay and give Mr. Wardell your receipt by October 11th! Pick up after school on October 14th. ”

Youthlinc Student Service: application is due on October 5^th. You will need 2 recommendations and your transcript.  This is open to Juniors and Seniors.

HOBY/Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar is for Sophomores interested in leadership.

HOBY’s flagship program allows high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them in becoming effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community. Students attend three- or four-day seminars and participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in their state, and explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how to make a positive impact in their community. The seminar curriculum is based on the Social Change Model of Leadership and develops leadership from three perspectives: Personal Leadership, Group Leadership, and Leadership  for Society. – See more at: http://www.hoby.org/about/programs#sthash.xK4qM02h.dpuf

The seminar will be held at Aspen Grove in May 2017.  IF you are interested in attending this seminar, please come talk to a counselor.  There is a fee associated with this seminar.

Activity Cards: You will need you activity card for the football game TONIGHT. You will need to pick it up at the financial office and make sure you have a sticker to show you paid your activity fee. We will not have a list so without the card you will have to pay.

A Night in Sherwood Forest presented by the choir will be this Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at Noon.  Tickets are $12 for Adults, $10 Seniors/Students, $5 for children, and $15 at the door for everyone. Come eat good food and enjoy the talents of our students!

Football –OHS will take on Timpview tonight at Timpview.  It is a whiteout.  Go and support your OHS Tigers!

Students are you interested in Humanitarian service? We have a guest speaker, Brylie Houle coming to OHS on Thursday, September 15^th 11:45 – 12:20 in the library during pride.  Brylie recently returned from a service trip to Cambodia and will share her experiences.
