Wednesday October 12th “Random Act of Kindness Day”  HOPE SQUAD will be handing out challenges as you come into school on Wednesday.  We would like to encourage all to participate and do an act of service for someone that day.

Friday October 14th in the library during pride we will have Brandon Black, an engineer as our guest speaker. If you are interested in an engineering degree, come and hear what he has to say!  Sign up for this event in the career center.

Game of the week Girls Volleyball against Mountain View TONIGHT in the field house.  It is a “Jungle Out”, come in your tiger attire and cheer on our OHS tigers.

The wrestling team is selling potatoes for a fundraiser. They are 50 pound bags, and cost $20. We have Red, Golden, and Russet potatoes. Today is the last day to order. If you are interested get with one of the wrestlers, or contact Coach Schwab directly.

HOBY/Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar is for Sophomores interested in leadership.

HOBY’s flagship program allows high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them in becoming effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community. Students attend three- or four-day seminars and participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in their state, and explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how to make a positive impact in their community. The seminar curriculum is based on the Social Change Model of Leadership and develops leadership from three perspectives: Personal Leadership, Group Leadership, and Leadership  for Society. – See more at: http://www.hoby.org/about/programs#sthash.xK4qM02h.dpuf
